If you should decide to move from one of our homes, you must leave it in a good condition ready for the next tenant to move in.

Your Neighbourhood Officer and a Surveyor will visit to inspect your home and explain what you will need to do before you move out.

They will inspect the property for repairs that will need to be made, check that any alterations to the fixtures and fittings are acceptable, and that the property is clean and safe for the new tenant to move in. They will also advise what you can and cannot leave behind.

If the work or repairs are not carried out as identified we will have to recharge the cost for doing the work ourselves.

Keys and Key Fobs

You will be given a date to return your keys and key fobs to our Brook House head office in Huntingdon. If you do not return your keys by the agreed date that may result in you being required to pay additional rent.
